ALAMOSA - The state legislative committee that filters all capital improvement projects for higher education, the state's prisons and other state buildings, stopped at Adams State College Tuesday as part of a four-day tour across rural Southern Colorado.

School officials gave four Capital Development Committee members, including ASC alumna and Rep. Buffie McFadyen, D-Pueblo West, a chance to look at two projects, one of which has been partially funded.
